What the Press had to say
Buccaneer Diving Home Page

"It is the intention of Bruce Phillips at Buccaneer Diving to promote diving tourism at the coast so that Kenya gains the deserved reputation for its aquatic life and reefs to rank with that of its land-based counterparts. So far using old logbooks and diving around well-known fishing hot spots' Bruce and his fellow divers have rediscovered the remains of an old ammunition-carrying barge that sank in the early 1960's. The wreck has now become an artificial reef that attracts shoals of small reef fish together with larger pelagics and grouper that come to feed on the reef fish. The team have also discovered some very exciting deeper second reefs off the rarely dived area around Vipingo. The pick of these sites has to be the pinnacles reef, which starts at 18 metres and descends to below sport diving limits………. both new sites have met with rave reviews"
