Must I do the exams in English?
No, PADI has written exams in many different languages, & certainly all the major European languages. It is also possible to do the oral part of the IDC in your own language if you wish.

What is the average passing rate of the IE?
Worldwide - 89%. We are currently running at a 96% rate.

Where do candidates commonly fail in the IE?
Theory also Standards and Procedures. Study your theory and be prepared for the IE. None of our candidates have failed at the presentations section of the IE.

When can I begin teaching?
As soon as the paperwork from your IE has been processed. Generally about 3 weeks after the IE.

What about work in East Africa?
We can help you look for work in East Africa after the IE. Most of our candidates have successfully gone on to jobs in the region and many still work in the area.
